The Sunshine Castle after 10 years of operating 7 days a week has decided to move to a model of seasonal operation. The experience gained during this decade has given us a basis on which to determine optimum opening hours. As a small family business in the tourism, hospitality and event industry we are making this choice to offer our business increased flexibility and opportunity.
The off season Mondays during the school term that will be closed as a rule to the public – will offer a new opportunity for conferencing groups, film teams and other exclusive use venue hire opportunities to groups, schools and individual celebrations. We are happy to talk with you about your needs.
This move will also allow staff and management time to work on the business, new ideas and products as well as create a work lifestyle balance vital for a small team.
The Sunshine Castle management is proud of the longstanding community and industry support it has received and is confident there will be smooth transition to the new opening hours. We are also most grateful for the support that we have received from the general public as we celebrate 45 years as a Sunshine Coast Tourism Icon. We hope to see you all at the Castle soon..!!
